Pokémon Deluge is an online game where you can catch your own online Pokémon, trade them and even battle them against other players.
Nope. We use your email only in case you forget your password and want to recover it.
When you sign up, you'll choose a starter Pokémon. To catch more Pokémon, simply move around on one of the maps until another one appears. You can battle this Pokémon and try to capture it. If you capture it, it will be added to your team and you can use it to battle other people and catch more Pokémon!

Heres their order from the most common to the rarest:
  (Most common) Normal -> Metallic,Ghostly,Shadow,Dark -> Shiny,Mirage (Rarest)
(The ones grouped together have the same rarity)
Once you beat the Gyms and Elite 4 of a particular region, you can find legends of that region randomly appearing on all maps. Beat all gyms/elite 4/dojos to unlock all legendaries. Do note that they are pretty rare when compared to normal Pokémon, so they will not appear all the time. Also, you may catch only one legend of a particular type. (IE: You can possess one Metallic Suicune and one Shiny Suicune, but you cannot have two Shiny Suicune).
All Pokémon appear randomly on the maps. However, some Pokémon only appear on certain tiles. (IE: Water Pokémon will appear only in the water).
Move your mouse to the "Pokémon" box and a drop box will show, then click on the "Your team" option. Once there you can change your team by dragging a Pokémon from your Pokémon box from below to your team.
It takes a lot of time and patience to get to the top. You need to have a lot of high level Pokemon with a lot of experience, and many, many battles won to get to the top 50 trainers. To get to the top collectors though, simply get as many unique (different) Pokemon as you can.
If you provided your email, you can go to the login page and click on Forgot Password.

If you haven't, we cannot help you. It is the only way you can prove that the account is yours.

Yes, All you have to do is select 'LiveBattle' from under the 'Battle' dropdown. It requires that your friend has enabled live battle on their profile. This feature is still under testing.
You can battle people who aren't online by going to the "Battle" dropdown and selecting "Computer Battle". However, their Pokémon will be computer controlled.
Yes. But only the people you add as friends. If you and your friend are both online on the same map, you will be able to see them on the map.</dd>
You can go to their profile via Profile → Search Users → Enter the username. When the profile appears, Click on 'Add to Friends'.</dd>
Its the same procedure as above, but the profile will show a 'Remove from Friends' link instead.</dd>
Some Pokémon need stones to evolve. At the moment evolutionary stones are free - you do not need to purchase them. They will be used during the evolutionary process automatically.
Attacks that are not normal or share a type with your Pokémon are much more expensive, since if you want an attack that does not match your Pokémon, it should cost more to teach them that attack.
The points are calculated from your total experience, average experience, unique Pokémon and total battles won. They are the same points as are displayed on the top trainers list and are meant to show your relative progress.
Absolutely not. The staff of Pokémon Deluge will never require your password, so don't believe anyone who asks for your password regardless of who they are. If you change your email to someone else's you are giving them the opportunity to use the password retrieval system to get your password.
There are no official battle tournaments. If someone messaged you about one and asked for your password, you should report them at the forums or Email Us.
Accounts not following rules may be banned without warning.
You should report it as soon as you can at the forums. You may also Email Us. Anyone found abusing a glitch of some beneficial nature will be subject to a ban.
The game should work on any modern browser. But we suggest Firefox 3.5+ for a better experience.

Also, Enable Javascript for the upcoming live battle and also for better interaction.
